The traditional speed torque sensor has only a single range. When performing a small torque test, the test error will be much greater than the instrument calibration error, resulting in no reference value for the test results.

In response to this problem, torque sensor manufacturers divide the large-range torque sensor hardware into dual-range. When the motor test system performs small torque testing, switch the test range to the small-range file. The advantage of this is to make the test more accurate.

Definition of rated range: within the range of the marked parameters. The sensor is designed to measure the upper limit of the torque value.

Measuring range: For example, the measuring range of a sensor with a rated range of 10NM is 0~10 Nm. The measuring range of a sensor with a rated range of 20N-M is 0~20NM.

Service life: Use the same type of torque sensor with a range of 100 Nm and 50NM to measure the torque of 50NM. The torque sensor of 50 Nm can be understood as full-load work.
